Subject AccessAuthority control descriptive terms indicating the form, genre and physical characteristics of the materials has been descirbed using the Library of Congress Thesaurus for graphic materials and the Getty Art and Architectural Thesaurus.
Authorities are included in the metadata with web processable identifiers to increase accessibility by standarizing multiple forms of a given search term and increasing relevancy in results. Term included: names, Subjects(topics), Subjects (Place names), Subjects (genres), Artistic styles and Historical periods.
